The Maihan Association organizes educational programs that support learning and literacy for community members of all ages — helping newcomers build skills, families access resources, and youth thrive in school and beyond.

We host cultural and literacy events that celebrate Afghan heritage, foster belonging within our community, and share our culture with the wider Charlotte community.

Disaster Relief Assistance
The Association coordinates disaster relief assistance for families facing displacement, natural disasters, and other emergencies — helping community members access support during the moments that matter most.

Charitable & Community Services
Beyond our core programs, the Association provides additional charitable services that meet the needs of individuals and families in our community — including resettlement support, family assistance, and community-building efforts that strengthen our shared home in Charlotte.
